Locksmith life is always interesting and each week brings something new that I have never seen before, or where it has been years since I worked on something similar. This month I’ve had a run on old antique Coke machines. The one on the left was purchased knowing there was no key available. No problem! I was able to open it without damage and make a key to the antique lock thus keeping everything original and maintaining its antique value. The machine on the right had a stuck lock and I was able to get it open without so much as a scratch. Good thing too, because it was part of a pristine collection of ‘never used’ antique machines that looked as good as the day they were made. What marvelous mechanical devices!
