No Scammers, No Mocksmiths
As we all know the Scammers, (they aren’t locksmiths so we call them mocksmiths) are a really big problem in the locksmith industry. They have filled the Yellow pages with bogus company names, addresses and telephone numbers. Even worse than that is their presence on the internet. All of those same bogus listings have been picked up online and made it very hard for legitimate locksmiths to be found in searches. Why is that worse? Smart Cell Phones! People use them all the time to find everything they need or want. And be warned, this type of scamming is not limited to our industry. Plumbers, Electricians and Handymen are just a few other trades that are being ripped off.
Bogus businesses come up in searches because they use something called SEO, Search Engine Optimization. Face it, anyone can make a website. These scammers use webmasters who know how to fool Google and others into giving their website the top listings on a search page.
The Locksmith Industry is fighting fire with fire by using some of the same SEO techniques. That is the purpose of this page. All these links point to legitimate locksmith companies that have been verified by an expert.
